A specialist in MICS (Micro Incision Cataract Surgery), laser vision correction, refractive lens exchange, and anterior segment surgery.
He graduated from the Medical University of Lublin in 1995. He completed his residency in ophthalmology in 1999 and earned his Ph.D. in medical sciences in 2002. He participated in numerous fellowships in Germany, Switzerland, France, and Spain. For many years, he worked at the “Vissum Instituto Oftalmológico de Alicante” in Spain under the supervision of Professor Jorge Alio, who served as president of the International Society of Refractive Surgery (ISRS). This gave him direct access to the latest trends in surgical technology and the most up-to-date scientific data shaping the future of refractive and cataract surgery worldwide.
He was one of the first ophthalmologists in Poland to perform cataract surgery using the bimanual microincision technique (MICS).
He currently specializes in laser vision correction, vision correction through the implantation of phakic intraocular lenses under the iris and refractive lens exchange, as well as cataract surgery involving the implantation of technologically advanced EDoF and multifocal intraocular lenses.
