A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Lublin.
She completed her residency training at the General Ophthalmology Clinic of SPSK No. 1 in Lublin, earning the title of ophthalmology specialist in 2015. She worked at the Retina and Vitreous Surgery Clinic of SPSK No. 1 in Lublin. In 2018, she earned her Ph.D. in medical sciences with honors, defending her dissertation on the topic: “Assessment of surgically induced astigmatism in the bimanual cataract surgery technaique.”
She has received fellowships from The European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS), The European Society of Ophthalmology (SOE), and The European Board of Ophthalmology (EBO). She has completed international fellowships in the diagnosis of retinal diseases (including at ESASO Lugano and in Bonn), as well as in anterior segment surgery and vitreoretinal surgery in Ravenna, at IMO in Barcelona, VISSUM in Alicante, FOM in Valencia, and at ESASO Lugano.
In her daily practice, she focuses on the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of diseases of the anterior and posterior segments of the eye, primarily cataracts, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. In the ophthalmology day surgery unit, she performs cataract surgeries.
He is also a specialist in the treatment of AMD, performing intravitreal injections of anti-VEGF agents, as well as laser procedures in the anterior segment (including capsulotomy and iridotomy) and the posterior segment (panretinal photocoagulation, laser barrage, and micropulse laser procedures). At the Eyemed ophthalmology clinic, he also evaluates patients for cataract surgery, vitrectomy, intravitreal injections, and laser procedures; treats dry eye; and performs OCT and angio-OCT examinations of the macula, OCT of the optic nerve, ocular ultrasound, and vision correction for children and adults.
He is the author and co-author of conference papers, publications, and chapters in scientific monographs. He regularly participates in training courses and conferences to expand his knowledge and enhance his professional qualifications.
